Welcome to 'Caterpillars'

Parent and Toddlers Group

'Caterpillars' is the Parent and Toddler group

of Chalkwell Park Methodist church and was formed in 1983.

The aims of the group are to offer an environment

in which young children can enjoy their first experiences

of having fun,making friends and learning away from the familiarity

of their home surroundings, yet with the security of a known adult

who can share and extend these early learning experiences.

To encourage our children to develop new skills,

there is a selection of toys suitable for babies and children.

We also aim to have a different craft activity each week.

Gill, Pam, Gail, Sarah, Sally and Sonia run the group.

The church actively encourages and supports the group and has a

Safeguarding Children Policy. All our helpers are CRB checked.

We meet every Wednesday morning (during the school term),

9.30 to 11.30 a.m. in the downstairs hall,

with coffee, tea, orange squash and biscuits provided.
